Production Technology of Acrylic Acid by Propylene Oxidation

The technology for producing acrylic acid through gas-phase oxidation of propylene was developed on the basis of research into composite oxide catalytic materials and olefin oxidation reaction technology. This technology offers a number of key advantages, including high operational flexibility, low production costs and high product purity. It is well-suited to the production of esterification grade and polymerisation grade acrylic acid, helping enterprises to improve quality, reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Operates safely and stably, with low downtime and maintenance frequency.

The process has been refined to minimise the use of polymerisation inhibitors and solvents, thereby enhancing mass transfer efficiency during extraction and separation. This has resulted in a significant reduction in energy consumption, estimated at approximately 35% compared to conventional methods.

The product yield is high, with a reaction conversion rate that is well optimised and excellent selectivity. The average propylene consumption remains below 675 kg/t.

The product meets the national quality standards for superior products.
