Ethylbenzene Adsorption Separation Technology
This technology utilizes a proprietary high-efficiency adsorbent in conjunction with a simulated moving bed (SMB) process to selectively separate and purify ethylbenzene from mixed C8 aromatics. The ethylbenzene product can reach a purity of ≥99.9 wt% with a yield of ≥95 wt%, making it a suitable direct feedstock for styrene production units. The remaining mixed xylenes can serve as high-quality feed for para-xylene (PX) units, thereby enhancing the overall economic efficiency of the integrated aromatics complex.
