Gas-Solid & Gas-Liquid-Solid Separation
High-Efficiency Dry Gas Filter–Vane Combination Separator
High-Efficiency Dry Gas Filter–Vane Combination Separator
Effectively removes liquid droplets, solid particles, and dust simultaneously from a wide range of industrial gases.
Working Principle:
(A) Gas flows from the outer surface into the interior of the high-efficiency dry gas filter cartridge. In this process, large liquid droplets, solid particles, and dust are removed, while liquid drains through the front liquid conduit into the secondary liquid collection chamber.
(B) While removing solid particles, small droplets coalesce into larger droplets.
(C) The gas stream carrying these coalesced larger droplets passes through the filter support tube and enters the downstream high-efficiency vane pack.
(D) Liquid captured by the vane pack is collected beneath the vanes. Driven by gravity, the collected liquid flows through the rear liquid conduit into the secondary liquid collection chamber and is eventually discharged from the chamber bottom.
(E) Proper liquid level control ensures smooth discharge of liquid.
Key Features & Benefits
The high-efficiency dry gas filter–vane combination separator provides customers with an effective and economical solution for simultaneously removing liquid droplets, solid particles, and dust from gas streams, thereby protecting expensive downstream process equipment.
Applications
Natural gas transmission and storage facilities
Natural gas metering and pressure regulating stations
Purification of natural gas, associated gas, coalbed methane, shale gas, and fuel gas
Refining, petrochemical, chemical, and coal chemical processing units
Removal and recovery of compressor lubricating oil mist
Protection of catalyst beds, molecular sieve desiccant beds, and membrane separation equipment
Protection of on-line gas analyzers
High-Efficiency Dry Gas Filter Cartridge
The filter cartridges can be designed for vertical or horizontal installation, available in a wide range of models with standard industrial lengths and diameters. Quick-opening closures are available in both full-size and reduced-bore configurations.
High-Efficiency Vane Pack
The vane pack is designed based on the principles of inertial impaction, droplet adhesion and coalescence, and gravity settling, thereby achieving higher gas–liquid separation efficiency, lower pressure drop, and wider operating flexibility.
