Gas-Solid & Gas-Liquid-Solid Separation
Super Filtration Combination Separator
Super Filtration Combination Separator
The Super Filtration Combination Separator adopts a compact design. Compared with the standard dry gas filter cartridge–vane combination separator, the super filtration configuration can reduce costs by approximately 20%. The relatively longer super filter cartridge maximizes the filtration area, while the high-efficiency P6X vane pack improves gas handling capacity by about 50% compared to conventional vane packs. The combination of these two elements effectively reduces the separator diameter, achieving superior performance while significantly lowering overall cost.
Working Principle:
(A) Gas carrying liquid droplets, solid particles, and dust impinges on the T-shaped inlet baffle, where large droplets, solid particles, and dust are removed. Liquids drain through the front liquid conduit into the secondary liquid collection chamber.
(B) Gas flows from the outer surface into the interior of the super filter cartridge, where fine solid particles and dust are removed. At the same time, small droplets coalesce into larger droplets.
(C) The gas stream, carrying these coalesced larger droplets, passes through the filter support tube and enters the downstream high-efficiency vane pack.
(D) Liquids captured by the vane pack are collected beneath the vanes. Driven by gravity, the collected liquid flows through the rear liquid conduit into the secondary liquid collection chamber and is eventually discharged from the chamber bottom.
(E) Proper liquid level control ensures smooth liquid discharge.
