Natural Gas Liquefaction Plant

Natural gas liquefaction is the process of converting natural gas from gaseous phase to liquid phase under high pressure (typically >4.6MPa) and low temperature (approximately -161°C). The process typically includes three main parts: feed gas pretreatment, liquefaction, and storage.

Raw natural gas generally contains impurities such as acid gases, heavy hydrocarbons, water, and mercury. To ensure stable operation of the cryogenic liquefaction process, these impurities must be strictly removed.

Through engineering practice, we have successfully developed a complete series of natural gas liquefaction process packages with capacities of 3, 5, 10, 20, 50, 60, and 100 million cubic meters per day.

Mastered LNG Production Technologies:Nitrogen expansion, Cascade cycle, SMR (Single Mixed Refrigerant), C3MR (Propane Precooled Mixed Refrigerant), SMR combined with cryogenic nitrogen rejection.

We have developed standardized designs with finalized products for 5, 10, and 50 million m³/day capacities.

Through standardized design and skid-mounted production, we achieve factory prefabrication and modular construction. Equipment is assembled and commissioned in controlled environments, ensuring superior quality and significantly reducing on-site work. Complete skid units enable rapid deployment in remote areas and easy relocation for reuse, effectively lowering engineering costs and improving equipment utilization.

Our standardized system documentation comprises unified technical specifications, piping material grade requirements, process descriptions, and standardized legends for process flow diagrams and P&IDs.

Through systematic analysis of current natural gas liquefaction processes and technology trends, we have developed standardized process flows for different units based on unified process routes, automation levels, and equipment selection.
