Slop Oil and Oily Sludge Recovery Technology
The process is configured around six treatment functions: de-emulsification and solids removal, demetallization, oil-water separation, water purification, nano-scale de-emulsification and vacuum drying or thermal desorption. The overall objective is reduction, harmless treatment and resource recovery, with recovered products directed to reuse or further processing where applicable.

Closed and continuous first-stage operation
The 1D de-emulsification and solids-removal step operates as a sealed, continuous process, with no wastewater, waste gas or solid waste discharged from this stage.
High separation and purification performance
The process separates oil, water and solids, and further purifies the recovered water and oil phases.
Resource recovery and waste reduction
Purified oil and water can be recovered for reuse or further processing. Drying and thermal treatment reduce the amount of residual material requiring further handling.
Treatment Process Stages
1D - De-emulsification and solids removal
Cyclonic centrifugal separation breaks the stable oil-water-solid structure and removes dense solids.
2D - Demetallization
Chemical treatment removes metal compounds from the treated material.
3D - Enhanced-gravity purification
Physical separation produces purified oil, purified water and solid residue.
4D - Micro-interface reaction
Micro-interface treatment further purifies the water phase by removing dispersed contaminants.
5D - Nano-de-emulsification
A nano-de-emulsification unit removes trace oil droplets from the water phase.
6D - DSMVR drying and thermal desorption
Vacuum drying reduces water and sludge volume. Where required, thermal desorption further removes oil from the dried residue.
