Rhodium Catalyst for Butyl-octyl Alcohol Production
Rhodium Catalyst for Butyl-octyl Alcohol Production
This catalyst, known as ROPAC (Triphenylphosphine Acetylacetonate Carbonyl Rhodium), is a rhodium phosphine catalyst developed for butyl-octyl alcohol production. It efficiently catalyzes the reaction of propylene with synthesis gas to produce butyraldehyde, which is then converted into butyl-octyl alcohol. Performance is comparable to imported catalysts.
Key Features & Benefits
High Activity
High Selectivity
High Stability

Scope of Adaptation
Mainly applicable to butyl-octyl alcohol production facilities.
Industrial Application Performance:
250,000 t/y butyl-octyl alcohol plant in Tianjin
150,000 t/y butanol plant in Tengzhou
