Precious Metal Deoxidizer for Butyl-octyl Alcohol Production

Developed to address the high sulfur content typical of coal-derived synthesis gas, this series includes two catalyst formulations: Pt/Al₂O₃ sulfur-resistant deoxidizer and Pd/Al₂O₃ deoxidizer. Both are designed for deoxidizing sulfur-containing synthesis gas. After more than 10 years of industrial application, they have replaced imported products in butanol and octanol plants, now accounting for 80% of deoxidizer market. Deoxygenation depth reaches below 0.1 ppm from inlet oxygen levels as high as 10,000 ppm.
